Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior solutions architect in the United States to own end-to-end technical strategy for key accounts—from discovery through production deployment and growth.

You will lead architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, serving as a trusted advisor to customer architects and Directors and driving wins with custom Databricks solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Strong Python and SQL with live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and pipelines.
• Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and a developing specialization area.
• Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and on cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment and growth.
• Lead architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineers, and Directors.
• Drive technical wins by delivering custom-built solutions that differentiate Databricks.
• Develop a specialization archetype and become a go-to resource within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver complex solutions.
• Influence product direction with structured feedback on customer requirements and gaps.
