Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, designing scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics. You will develop a technical specialization, coordinate cross-functional resources, and influence product direction with structured feedback on customer needs

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture
• Proficient on the Databricks Platform with specialization in one area
• Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders
• Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Track record of platform adoption and growth
• Excellent communication translating architectures to business value
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through deployment and growth
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors as a trusted technical advisor
• Drive technical wins with custom-built solutions that demonstrate Databricks’ differentiation
• Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization for the team
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex needs
• Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements and gaps
