Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead the most complex customer engagements, owning executive-level relationships and serving as the technical authority across accounts.

You will drive consumption strategy, influence platform adoption, and mentor teams while shaping enterprise-grade data/AI solutions. This role requires deep architecture skills and a proven track record in large enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, or senior technical roles.
• Expert-level coding in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark; live coding may be required.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, streaming and lakehouse patterns.
• Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge with depth or equivalent depth.
• Declared technical specialization with recognised depth (e.g., real-time, ML/AI, migrations).
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs and C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the organisation's most complex engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior-level technical relationships — advising on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead the most complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms and migrations.
• Act as an expert on the Databricks Platform with archetype depth and mentor peers.
• Develop competitive strategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Coach and develop junior SAs on technical depth and customer engagement.
• Contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership through customer-facing content and workshops.
