Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects.

You will develop a technical specialization, coordinate cross-functional resources, and influence product direction with feedback on customer needs and competitive gaps. Strong cloud experience required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or similar senior technical roles.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse).
• Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and directors.
• Drive technical wins with custom-built solutions and competitive differentiation.
• Develop an emerging technical specialization for the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, partners) to deliver complete solutions.
