Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead complex customer engagements and drive consumption of the platform. You will own executive-level relationships, set strategic direction, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver enterprise-grade data and AI solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, real-time architectures, and a track record of moving large accounts toward platform adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming/real-time, lakehouse patterns, data governance.
• Demonstrated Databricks Platform knowledge or equivalent depth in competing platforms.
• Declared technical specialization with leadership in real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, or large migrations.
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Executive presence to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or quantitative discipline; advanced degrees valued.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for the organization's most complex customer engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships as trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms and real-time systems.
• Mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) on depth, engagement, and use case prioritization.
• Develop competitive strategies and position Databricks against incumbents and new entrants.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
