Job summary

Reuters Imagen, backed by Thomson Reuters, is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect in the United States to lead technical discovery, design scalable cloud solutions, and drive customer engagements during the sales cycle.

You will act as the technical lead, create architecture diagrams, and collaborate with product/engineering to influence direction while mitigating risks across implementation and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support for enterprise or SaaS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery workshops, understanding customer requirements, workflows, integrations, security considerations and business objectives.
• Design scalable cloud-based solutions that align customer needs with Reuters Imagen's platform capabilities and best practices.
• Act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, delivering compelling demos, handling technical discussions and building customer confidence.
• Partner with Commercial and Account teams to develop proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, solution designs and effort estimates.
• Advise customers on deployment, hosting, integration and configuration approaches, championing sustainable, configuration-led solutions over custom development.
• Identify technical risks early, develop mitigation strategies and ensure smooth transition from sales through implementation and delivery.
• Remain a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts, supporting complex implementations, feature adoption and ongoing optimisation.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, sharing customer insights, influencing product direction and contributing to presales tools, technical playbooks and market expertise.
