Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. seeks a Lead AI Forward Engineer to design and guide delivery of scalable AI-powered solutions across CIO technology teams.

The role combines forward-deployed architecture with hands-on implementation, mentoring, and building reusable AI patterns to enable enterprise-wide adoption. You will own solution design from concept through production, ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence while collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Cloud Engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, technical strategy, or related senior engineering roles.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end AI solutions, including data flows and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML patterns, LLM orchestration, and enterprise integration considerations.
• Proficiency in Python with hands-on capability to prototype and validate designs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security considerations.
• Experience designing and operating production AI systems with telemetry and monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders and document designs.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI automation across CIO tech teams.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions with data flows, APIs, and orchestration patterns.
• Guide implementations from prototype to production ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Define reusable architectural patterns for broader adoption of AI capabilities.
• Develop telemetry dashboards and reporting for AI performance and cost.
• Mentor engineers and share patterns to raise overall AI delivery maturity.
