Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Sr Solutions Architect for Digital/Data Platforms (Azure & Databricks) in Hartford, CT.

The role designs, develops, and governs enterprise-grade digital solutions aligned with business strategy and security requirements, guiding architecture roadmaps and data governance across cloud platforms. You will drive API strategy, microservices, and event-driven design while leading engineering teams and collaborating with security, compliance, and product stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or digital platform roles.
Cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP).
MDM, data modeling, warehousing, lakehouse, ETL/ELT.
API design, microservices, event‑driven architecture.
Cybersecurity, IAM, compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Define target-state digital architecture across application, data, integration, cloud, and security layers.
Develop architecture roadmaps, technology blueprints, and modernization strategies.
Lead API strategy, microservices architecture, and event-driven design.
Architect platforms supporting BI, AI/ML, and real-time analytics.
Collaborate with product, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
