Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for the DACH region to own complex enterprise relationships, technically and commercially, from first conversations to production deployments. You will deliver compelling demos, mentor peers, and shape regional strategy.

Ideal candidates combine deep data platform expertise with hands-on coding in Python/SQL, cloud experience, and the ability to engage C-level executives while driving adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and business-level English are required for daily customer and internal use.
• Substantial experience in technical pre-sales across the full sales lifecycle.
• Ability to drive technical and business conversations with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex enterprise accounts from first technical conversation to production.
• Deliver demos and pitches to budget holders and senior stakeholders.
• Turn customer conversations into working prototypes quickly using AI-assisted development.
• Mentor and develop Solutions Architects and Senior SAs with Field Engineering leadership.
• Build Databricks' technical presence in the DACH market through collateral, workshops and talks.
