Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent
• Expert-level coding proficiency: Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming, lakehouse, governance
• Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge or depth in competing platforms
• Declared specialization with depth (real-time, ML/AI, migrations, etc)
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption
• Executive presence; able to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders
• Experience leading competitive displacements and enterprise evaluations
• Strong strategic thinking linking architecture to business outcomes
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or quantitative discipline (advanced degrees valued)

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex engagements
• Own senior-level technical relationships as trusted advisor on data and AI
• Lead architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms and migrations
• Mentor junior SAs on depth, engagement, and use-case prioritization
• Develop competitive strategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams
• Contribute to field engineering thought leadership through content and workshops
