Job summary

Socure is hiring a Senior Solution Consultant, Core, to be a primary technical contact throughout sales and implementation for our identity verification products. You will tailor solutions to client needs and coordinate across departments to keep our products at the industry forefront.

You will collaborate with Sales, Data Science, Product Development, and Marketing to design POCs, craft strategies, and produce thought leadership content, while mentoring junior team members and translating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, math, economics, statistics, computer science, or related field preferred
• 8+ years in professional services consulting, customer management, or sales engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics, technology, or software engagements
• SaaS sales process experience is a plus
• Ability to translate complex statistics into clear results and recommendations
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of banking regulations (e.g., FCRA, GLBA) is a plus
• Comfort with travel up to 30% for remote role

The Senior Solution Consultant, Core is a primary technical point-of-contact throughout the sales cycle and product implementation process for Socure’s core identity verification products. The Solution Consultant will be a subject matter expert on Socure’s core product suite and will be responsible for understanding client needs and matching them to solutions using Socure’s products.

Solution Consultants work collaboratively with various departments across the organization to support the sale of Socure’s solutions. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating resources across several functional areas, partnering closely with more senior members of the Solution Consulting team to ensure our products are at the forefront of the industry.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with Sales in business development activities, including the presentation of core products and solutions to prospective clients, and contribute to statements of work (SOWs) and pricing
• Collaborate with Data Science on Proof-of-Concept (POC) design and execution
• Utilize industry and domain expertise to tailor strategies and recommendations for prospective clients
• Partner with Product Development to surface client feedback and funnel concepts for product innovation to product managers
• Contribute to thought leadership with Product Marketing for blogs, whitepapers, research briefs, webinars, and more
• Serve as a means of translation between technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and externally
• Support meetings with project stakeholders to help align resources and determine relative priority of projects to maximize business results
• Serve as a day-to-day technical resource on external and internal projects and engagements related to sales engagements supporting both direct field sales and channel sales teams
• Mentor junior members of the Solution Consulting team as needed

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, engineering, math, economics, statistics, computer science or other relevant field preferred
• 8+ years of professional work experience working in a professional services consultant, customer management, or sales engineering capacity
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level engagements dealing with analytics, technology, and/or enterprise software
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders in order to drive business results
• Prior experience or knowledge of SaaS sales processes
• Ability to synthesize complex statistical observations into clear results and concrete recommendations (both verbally and in writing)
• Skilled at building and delivering presentations with clear, complete messages
• Prior experience in the financial services or wireless industries a plus
• Prior experience conducting credit/fraud risk management analysis, threshold optimization, and swap sets a plus
• Prior experience working with document image capture or other OCR or CV tools a plus
• Prior domain knowledge of FCRA, ECOA, GLBA, PATRIOT Act, BSA, and other banking regulations a plus
• Strong technical aptitude (ex. ML/DS technologies, SDLCs, RESTful APIs, RDBMS, etc.)
• Excited by the challenges of a fast-paced, mission-driven company set on disrupting the identity verification industry
• Comfort with up to 30% travel — this is a remote role, with travel as required
