Job summary

Verizon is seeking a forward-thinking Solution Architect specializing in Customer Experience with deep expertise in Unified Communications and Voice Security. The role focuses on modernizing solution design and enabling business outcomes using AI and next-generation digital channels.

The position emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with sales teams, and driving revenue growth across the CEx portfolio. Occasional field visits are required in a mobile role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience.
• Four or more years of experience in Architecture design and implementation.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Sales Engineer in the Voice Security space.
• Ability to understand and align solutions with different market segments and audiences.
• Demonstrated expertise in Voice Security (e.g. VIAA, SecureLogix).
• Strong understanding of cloud communications, telephony, SIP, IVR, omnichannel routing, workforce engagement, and customer experience design.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools such as chatbots, virtual agents, and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) platforms.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in government compliance and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Voice Security technologies, providing credible and innovative solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate customer business requirements into comprehensive, end-to-end technology architectures and actionable solution designs.
• Take designs through the approval processes (Peer Review, SOAR, DLM...).
• Create both internal and external documentation on the design that can be used as part of the selling motion and for the hand-off to the implementation teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Core account teams to shape and deliver sellable and implementable solutions.
• Deliver engaging live demonstrations and technical workshops showcasing the portfolio's capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their communication needs and aligning technology solutions with desired business outcomes.
• Maintain a primary area of expertise while cultivating broad technical knowledge across key platforms and vendors.
