Job summary

Ottimate is seeking a Solution Architect to own technical scoping for new customer engagements, bridging sales and professional services to produce accurate SOWs. You will lead discovery, map customer needs to defensible scope, and ensure a clear handoff to delivery teams.

You will guide complex, non-ICP deals, author scoping artifacts, and influence product and engineering through discovery insights, while operating as the trusted technical authority in pre-implementation conversations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solution architecture or related B2B SaaS roles.
• Hands-on ERP/accounting integrations experience (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, BC, QuickBooks Online).
• Experience authoring SOWs for complex software implementations.
• Strong AP workflow knowledge: PO matching, invoicing, payments.
• Experience bridging sales and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end scoping process for complex, custom, non-ICP deals from discovery to final SOW.
• Lead technical discovery sessions translating business requirements into clear scope.
• Author and validate SOWs including integration, configuration, and effort estimates.
• Present SOW components on weekly review calls with Product and Engineering.
• Define rules for scoping handoffs and improve templates and discovery materials.
