Job summary

Ottimate is seeking a Solution Architect to own the technical scoping for complex, non-ICP deals, bridging sales and professional services. You will translate business needs into accurate SOWs, coordinate with Product and Engineering, and ensure clean handoffs to delivery.

You will lead discovery sessions on ERP integrations and AP workflows, define scoping standards, and build repeatable processes to scale the SOW discipline as Ottimate grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solution architecture, pre-sales, implementation consulting, or senior professional services in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Deep, hands-on experience with ERP and accounting integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, Microsoft BC, QuickBooks Online).
• Experience authoring SOWs for complex software implementations, including integration scope and effort estimation.
• Strong working knowledge of AP workflows: PO matching, invoice processing, payment infrastructure, discrepancies.
• Experience connecting sales and professional services to scope and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end scoping for complex, custom, and non-ICP deals from discovery to SOW finalization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions translating business requirements into clear, accurate scope.
• Author and validate SOWs including integration, configuration, data migration, and effort estimation.
• Present SOW components on weekly review calls with Product and Engineering; ensure technical sign-off.
• Maintain and improve SOW templates, scoping frameworks, and discovery question banks.
