Pearson Carter, a leading Microsoft-focused organisation, is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for presales focused on Dynamics 365 Project Operations and the wider Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem. You will partner with the VP of Strategic Solutions, leading technical discovery, solution architecture, workshops, demonstrations, and technical presentations in a highly customer-facing role.

• Willingness to travel across the US and Canada, typically 4–8 trips per year.

Pearson Carter is working with a leading Microsoft-focused organisation looking for a Senior Solution Architect to take ownership of the technical solution throughout the presales cycle.

Job Overview

You will partner closely with the VP of Strategic Solutions, leading technical discovery, solution architecture, workshops, demonstrations, and technical presentations. This is a highly customer-facing role focused on Dynamics 365 Project Operations and the wider Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture from discovery through contract execution.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft solutions.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Act as the technical authority across architecture, integrations, licensing, and product capabilities.
• Support proposals, presentations, and executive-level customer meetings.
• Work closely with delivery teams to validate solution design and implementation approach.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate how Project Operations and Finance & Operations support project execution, billing, revenue, and accounting.

Experience

• Strong presales and solution architecture experience within Microsoft Business Applications.
• Deep Dynamics 365 Project Operations experience.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Project Accounting, Resource Management, Project Financials, and Time & Expense.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Copilot, and Agent technologies.
• Confident delivering customer demonstrations, workshops, and executive presentations.
• Strong whiteboarding, solution storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the US and Canada, typically 4–8 trips per year.

Salary/Package

180K – 200K Benefits Commission/Bonus

Location

Home-based across North America with travel throughout the US and Canada.
