Pre-Sales Solution Architect – D365 Business Central
Position Summary
We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to expand our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central practice. The role focuses on new business sales of AI Business Solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and the broader Microsoft platform. The architect will leverage deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and its ecosystem to help prospects and clients evaluate and adopt solutions that address their business application needs. Key responsibilities include architecting and demonstrating Dynamics 365 capabilities throughout the evaluation process.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify prospect accounts.
- Gather and document client business requirements.
- Translate functional business requirements into Dynamics 365 Business Central and other Microsoft platform solutions such as Dynamics CE, Power Platform, and Copilot.
- Design overall solution footprints to meet client requirements.
- Manage the Solution Developer (ISV) ecosystem related to the industries served.
- Architect and demonstrate cutting‑edge technology, including artificial intelligence, during solution demonstrations.
- Work closely with solution developers throughout the sales cycle.
- Communicate issues and needs to internal teams and coordinate product demonstrations with the Pre‑Sales/ Solution Architect team.
- Configure, set up, and demonstrate Dynamics 365 Business Central, ISV solutions, and Power Platform applications.
- Collaborate with the professional services team to translate client needs into implementation plans.
- Document client requirements and future architecture, and communicate these to the delivery team for seamless project transition.
- Coordinate marketing activities in partnership with the marketing department.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Sales, MIS, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of solution‑based selling experience in a B2B environment.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience selling ERP solutions, preferably Microsoft Dynamics; experience with Oracle, SAP, Epicor, Infor, or NetSuite is also considered.
- Experience using AI tools internally and applying AI in client environments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex solutions succinctly and understandably.
- Experience architecting and demonstrating business applications to prospects and clients.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record of selling contracts worth millions of dollars.
- Experience managing complex architectural and demonstration requirements.
- Strong client rapport and project management skills.
- Industry knowledge of Manufacturing/Distribution, Supply Chain, or Professional Services.
- Great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in selling from prospecting to closing.
- Proficiency with standard office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Employment Details
In compliance with state pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the base salary range for this role is $100,000. The final offer amount may vary based on experience and geographic location.
