Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead enterprise healthcare payer integration and interoperability efforts. You will drive HL7 FHIR, EDI/X12, and REST API architectures across cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments on GCP/Azure.

You will mentor teams, perform architecture reviews, and ensure security, privacy, and reliability while aligning with product roadmaps and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Seven or more years of experience in a Systems Engineering, Automation, or Development role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and implementation strategy for healthcare payer integration.
• Architect scalable HL7 FHIR, EDI/X12, REST API-based interoperability solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across product lifecycle from design to modernization.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud architectures on GCP and Azure.
• Establish architecture standards and reusable patterns for healthcare APIs and services.
• Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure HIPAA/security compliance.
• Drive modernization toward API-first, event-driven architectures and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate roadmaps into technical plans.
