Job summary

HCA Healthcare ITG is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the architecture and strategy for enterprise healthcare payer integration and interoperability products. You will guide design, development, and deployment across HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, EDI/X12, REST APIs, and cloud-native platforms.

You will collaborate with business units to translate use cases into scalable architecture, mentor engineers, and help modernize legacy integrations toward API-first, cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Seven or more years of Systems Engineering, Automation, or Development experience.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12, REST APIs and healthcare interoperability standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture, technical design, and implementation strategy for enterprise healthcare payer integration and interoperability products.
• Architect scalable solutions supporting FHIR, HL7, EDI/X12, REST APIs and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle from architecture to deployment and modernization.
• Design reusable healthcare integration platforms enabling secure data exchange across payers, providers, EHRs, and partners.
• Architect HL7 FHIR-based solutions including APIs, resources, profiles, and implementation guides.
