Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to design scalable, secure technology solutions and translate complex business requirements into practical architectures.

This hybrid role blends remote flexibility with regular in-person collaboration and architecture reviews. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in architecture, hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong communication to coordinate across engineering, security, data, and business

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution or systems architecture
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, databases, networking, infrastructure
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives and security needs
• Translate business requirements into clear technical architectures and designs
• Evaluate applications, platforms, integrations, APIs, databases, and services
• Develop architecture diagrams, specifications, roadmaps, and implementation plans
• Lead and collaborate with engineering, cloud, security, data, and project teams throughout delivery
• Identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities
• Participate in architecture reviews and governance processes
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance, and compliance requirements
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
