Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable and secure technology solutions. The role collaborates with engineering, cloud, security, data, and business teams in a hybrid environment.

The first 12-month renewable contract offers a strong compensation package, sign-on bonus, and monthly stipend for technology needs. Ideal candidates will translate business requirements into practical architectures and drive architecture reviews and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution/ systems architecture or related discipline.
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and modern software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives and security requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and solution designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases, and services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, specifications, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, data, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Assess environments and identify modernization, optimization, automation, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make value-based recommendations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and integration constraints.
• Participate in architecture reviews and governance processes.
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance, and scalability expectations.
• Provide technical leadership during implementation and delivery.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
