Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure technology solutions.

This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with regular in-person collaboration and architecture reviews. You will translate complex business requirements into practical architectures, develop roadmaps and implementation plans, and partner with engineering, security, data, and project teams through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution or systems architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, databases, networking & modern software architectures.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, data protection, and risk management.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical docs, roadmaps, & specs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication & stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance business priorities with technical requirements and long-term architecture strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, standards & security requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical architectures & designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases & services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, specs, roadmaps & implementation plans.
• Partner with software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, infra, data & project teams.
• Assess existing tech environments for modernization, optimization & cost reduction.
• Evaluate emerging technologies & advise on business value & feasibility.
• Identify risks, dependencies & integration challenges.
• Participate in architecture reviews & vendor evaluations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance & scalability expectations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation & delivery.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
