Job summary

ServiceNow, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to advise customers on Technology Workflow implementations and accelerate business outcomes.

You will lead solution design, pre-sales activities, and cross‑functional collaboration with customers and partners, guiding governance and best practices across complex tech landscapes. You will interact with senior leaders, publish reusable use cases, and mentor teammates while traveling up to half the year to engage clients and drive

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of consultation and/or configuration experience related to implementing complex, highly-capable technologies;including integrations and portals.
• At least 5 years of consultation and/or configuration experience related to implementing the ServiceNow Technology Workflow solution suite.
• Vast and varied experience across leading Technology software platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult senior leaders, guiding options with risks and benefits.
• Customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer.
• Interacts well with both technical and non-technical customers, gathering requirements and designing solutions.
• Capable of developing visually rich conceptual design documents for diverse audiences.
• Experience conducting solutions presentations and obtaining customer acceptance to solution design.
• Strong trust-building and ability to engage remote or in-person audiences.
• Ability to visualize complex concepts with diagrams, wireframes, and modeling aids.
• Passion to study new technologies and participate in advanced projects.
• ServiceNow Certifications: Certified System Administrator; 2+ Implementation Specialist certs (ITSM, ITOM); Desired: Certified Technical Architect.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities, including presentations, scoping discussions, and estimating engagements with sales and partners.
• Lead a project team focused on delivering customer outcomes, aligning workflows with the customer tech landscape.
• Interact with senior leaders to discuss implementation roadmaps and change management best practices.
• Design solutions using Technology Workflow capabilities and publish use cases for broader consumption.
• Establish relationships with product owners and stakeholders to promote workflow capabilities and roadmaps.
• Lead office hours, webinars, and learning events for field delivery stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement of delivery materials with the Customer & Partner Excellence Team.
• Enable and mentor other delivery team members and partners.
• Travel up to 50% annually to meet customer needs and internal requirements.
