Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC systems at solar PV plants, spanning medium voltage to low voltage gear.

You will work under the Site Manager to execute preventative and predictive maintenance, interpret schematics, and ensure electrical safety and reliability. Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent, a TX Electrician License preferred, and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent desired.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and vendor data.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and replace solar PV plant electrical equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and vendor data; follow codes.
• Take current and voltage readings as needed.
• Pursue maintenance certifications such as CMRT/CMRP and perform maintenance per schedule.
• Conduct preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance under Site Manager/Lead Technician.
