Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a Renewable Technician II to independently maintain utility-scale solar facilities and BESS systems. The role involves preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and documentation, with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will work with a team of technicians and site leadership, performing field tasks within qualification limits, and supporting plant availability across the portfolio in Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical training in electrical/electronics or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in renewable energy, industrial maintenance or power generation.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance independently on Solar PV and BESS equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-system issues.
• Perform authorized LOTO and switching activities.
• Use SCADA, monitoring systems, and drawings to investigate alarms and verify equipment condition.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately and promptly.
• Provide task-level guidance to developing technicians and ensure proper procedures and PPE use.
• Participate in on-call, emergency-response, and restoration activities.
