Job summary

Enel North America in Texas seeks a Renewable Technician III to perform advanced maintenance on utility-scale solar and BESS systems. You will diagnose complex electrical and control issues, lead MV switching when qualified, and mentor junior technicians in safe, precise field execution.

The role emphasizes reliability improvements, SCADA data analysis, and collaboration with site leadership, contractors, and OEMs. A strong safety mindset and wide technical scope are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years renewable energy maintenance experience.
• QEW3 site qualification within 6 months of starting.
• State Electrician license or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Solar PV and BESS equipment.
• May lead medium-voltage switching, isolation, and restoration per procedures.
• Analyze SCADA, alarm, control and data to diagnose and verify repairs.
• Coach less-experienced technicians in safe, correct work practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis and reliability initiatives.
• Support contractor coordination and quality reviews during field execution.
