Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking an experienced technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants in Ohio. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting, and help ensure electrical systems operate safely and reliably.

The role requires 3+ years in solar O&M, familiarity with electrical safety, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the site team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.
• Prior Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA; assist in commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear and metering equipment; ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Lead small work groups and assist with planning, scheduling, and documentation of maintenance activities.
