Job summary

Energy Support Services, a New Energy Equity company, keeps solar and energy storage systems safe, reliable, and producing clean power. As our Solar O&M Technician Level 3, you’ll be the technical expert in the field, leading complex inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.

You’ll own your sites and follow a clear development pathway with advancement to Technician Level 4.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in solar or related electrical field.
• Associate degree preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certifications; FAA Part 107 or drone proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety plans and job safety analyses; ensure PPE compliance.
• Lead comprehensive inspections and develop maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues including grid integration.
• Create and maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to training materials.
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies.
