Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation team in the United States. You will work with the crew to complete installations, guide fellow installers daily, and ensure safety and quality on each project.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, opportunities for advancement and exposure to a full lifecycle of solar installation from layout to commissioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required.
• Clean driving record with valid license and 21+ years old.
• Adheres to safety policies and can coach others to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools as prepared.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.
• Assemble the racking, solar modules and support structures per project plan.
• Ensure a clean and orderly job site.
• Perform project clean up including client site and installation vehicle.
• Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times.
• Lead crew through safe, effective and efficient installations.
• Provide leadership, technical expertise and support to fellow crew members.
• Assist with solar battery installations when assigned.
• May serve as 'acting Foreperson' in the Forepersons' absence.
