Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Lead Installer in the NJ region to join our residential solar installation team. You will work with a crew to complete rooftop solar projects, guide fellow installers, and ensure quality work on every site.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-time project delivery. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior solar installation experience; a clean driving record and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass driving background check.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock and stock crew truck.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures.
• Assemble racking and solar modules as per project plan.
• Lead crew through safe, efficient installations and provide support.
• May assist with solar battery installations.
• Act as acting Foreperson in Foreperson's absence.
