Job summary

Solarblocks Energy is seeking an experienced installer to lead the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment on residential solar projects. You will support the Crew Lead and Electrician to ensure successful system completion and install/seal roof attachments and panels per manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities include electrical wiring of solar arrays (DC/AC), roof penetrations, site surveys, and assisting with inventory and vehicle organization.

Qualifications

• Trade school degree required.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems, blueprints and spec sheets.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a personal vehicle to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
• Support the Crew Lead and Electrician to assure the successful completion of the solar system.
• Install/seal roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels.
• Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines.
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC)/installing raceways around residential applications: roofs, attics, walls.
• Perform site survey activities.
• Review job installation plan with Crew Lead.
• Assist with project inventory tracking.
• Prepare, load, and organize installation vehicles. Warehouse organization required.
• Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
• Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
