Job summary
Semper Solaris seeks an organized Solar Installer to perform a wide range of residential solar installation tasks. You will install roof racks, modules, wiring, and test systems, while maintaining safety and quality standards across projects in California.
The ideal candidate has hands-on installation experience, strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k options.
Qualifications
- Power tools experience.
- Experience with solar PV installation, roofing, or general construction.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Responsibilities
- Complete roof installations on various roof types and ground mounts.
- Ensure proper job documentation after installation.
- Interact with customers to answer questions as needed.
- Identify, communicate and resolve hazards related to solar installations.
- Read and review blueprints and plan documents.
- Install racking systems and modules.
- Run conduit and wiring on roofs.
- Test operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Configure electrical wiring (AC and DC) for the solar system.
- Other duties as needed.
