Job summary

Empower Home Services is hiring installers to join a team installing photovoltaic systems. You will work under a Crew Lead & Roof Lead on rooftops, handling racking, panels, and electrical equipment to ensure complete solar installations.

Candidates should have roofing experience and familiarity with low-voltage wiring, NEC codes, and panel installation. The role involves travel and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year roofing experience across metal, concrete tile, clay tile, composition shingle or wood shake.
• Ability to work in hot sun, cold, wind, and tight spaces.
• Capable of climbing ladders and working at heights on rooftops.
• Safely handle tools and materials used in construction and solar installs including electrical gear.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical code requirements for installations.
• Willingness to travel weekly based on project location.

Responsibilities

• Support Roof Lead to complete quality installations.
• Install roof top components, racking, solar modules, and mounting hardware.
• Install electrical equipment and panels per design and codes.
• Upload progress photos and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
• Attend safety meetings and training on new products and practices.
• Assist with loading materials from shop to jobsite.
