Job summary

LGCY Power is seeking a Solar Installer to join our residential solar installation team in California. You will help install solar systems safely and efficiently, contributing to a culture focused on safety, responsibility, appreciation, and quality service.

You will oversee installation steps, support a positive work environment, test components, and ensure compliance with NEC/AHJ guidelines while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of solar/roofing/electrical experience
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Coachable and self-motivated
• Possess a Learning mindset
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret plan sets
• Average conduit bending techniques
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Help oversee the installation process and ensure it exceeds company standards
• Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work environment
• Testing system components while the system is operating
• Represent LGCY Power professionally
• Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions
• Understand and abide by AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements and guidelines
• Help train and mentor crew team members
• Ensure all crew members understand and adhere to OSHA and/or LGCY safety procedures
• Clean and prepare vans at the end of each day
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned
