Job summary

LGCY Power is hiring a Solar Installer to join our California-based residential solar installation team. You will help oversee the installation process, maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and ensure a high-quality customer experience while following AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements.

The role requires 1+ years in solar/roofing/electrical, strong communication skills, and a proactive work ethic. Expect a schedule Mon-Fri with potential OT and up to 60% travel; compensation ranges from

Qualifications

• 1+ years of solar/roofing/electrical experience.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Coachable and self-motivated.
• Exceptional critical thinking skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret plan sets.
• Average conduit bending techniques.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Help oversee the installation process and ensure it exceeds company standards.
• Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work environment.
• Testing system components while the system in operating.
• Represent LGCY Power in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions.
• Understand and abide to AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements and guidelines.
• Help train and mentor crew team members.
• Ensure all crew members understand and adhere to all OSHA and/or LGCY safety procedures.
• Clean and prepare vans at the end of each day.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
