Job summary

LGCY Power is hiring a Solar Installer to join our residential solar installation team in California. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality solar systems for homeowners.

You will help oversee installation steps, test components, and ensure adherence to NEC guidelines; training and guiding crew members is also expected. Applicants should have 1+ years of solar/roofing/electrical experience, strong communication, and a proactive, learn‑minded attitude.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of prior solar/roofing/electrical experience
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Learning mindset
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret plan sets
• Average conduit bending techniques
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation process and ensure it exceeds company standards
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and efficient work environment
• Test system components while the system is operating
• Represent LGCY Power professionally and respectfully
• Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience
• Understand and adhere to AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements
• Train and mentor crew team members
• Ensure all crew members follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• Clean and prepare vans at end of day
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned
