Zusammenfassung

Carolina Solar Services seeks a Senior Solar Technician to lead field service for utility-scale solar facilities, supervise junior technicians, and ensure safe, timely service obligations.

The role involves troubleshooting solar generators, leading commissioning and preventative maintenance, reporting to operations, and training staff. Occasional overtime and on-call weekends apply; 90% field work with exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record to operate a company vehicle
• 3 years field experience in utility solar PV or 6 years of related experience

Aufgaben

• Troubleshooting and repairing utility scale solar generators
• Lead commissioning, quality assurance inspection, or preventative maintenance work as needed
• Provide timely Field Service Reports back to Operations staff for delivery to client
• Provide on-the-job training to less experienced field staff, be a leader in safe and proper work practices
• Perform vegetative maintenance as required
• Ensure a premium level of customer service
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call schedule
• Occasional overtime work and overnight travel required
