Carolina Solar Services is hiring a Solar Technician I in Charlotte, NC. The role supports senior field staff in safe, timely service of solar facilities and represents CSS in the field.

Emphasis is on learning company protocols, safety, and customer service as you assist in troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance. The position is full-time, with on-site work, weekend on-call rotation, and potential overtime or overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading technical specification documents, site plans, and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with tools and processes in electrical and mechanical trade work.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and PV power generation.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing solar generators.
• Assist with commissioning, QA inspection, or preventive maintenance work.
• Provide timely Field Service Reports to Operations for client delivery.
• Ensure a premium level of customer service.
• Perform vegetative maintenance as required.
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call schedule.
• Occasional overtime and overnight travel may be required.
