Pearce Services is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to support solar asset management across North America with a focus on sites near Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates should reside within approximately 50 miles of Pittsburgh and be capable of performing preventative and corrective maintenance on solar utility equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar plants.
• Experience with inverters, trackers, substations equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop laborers into Apprentices.
• Must live within ~50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar equipment.
• Document work orders, logs, inventory, and safety schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using meters and testing tools.
• Test solar equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset with LOTO & JHA knowledge.
• Operate safely a company vehicle and coordinate with team.
