SOLV Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to support solar facility maintenance, repair, and operations from our Bennett, CO location. This role involves hands-on site work, safety leadership, and collaboration with PM, OCC, HV, SCADA and IT teams to ensure reliable plant performance.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in solar maintenance, solid electrical knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills, with a focus on safety and on-site collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or similar) required.
• Minimum four years of experience in solar facility maintenance and repair.
• Demonstrate advanced computer operation skills and ability to operate system monitoring applications.
• Advanced knowledge of solar systems/plants, protection devices, control devices, power supplies, loads, conductors, inverters and transformers.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and telemetry issues.
• Pass exams on electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Current OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e certifications.

Responsabilités

• Stresses safety as the top priority and ensures practices meet standards.
• Perform, direct, and supervise site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Manage safe working environments and enforce safety standards.
• Implement repairs to unfamiliar solar equipment with proper training.
• Lead and train Solar Technician Levels I-IV.
• Prepare timely documentation and reports for site operations.
• Coordinate improvements with EPC management and performance teams.
• Respond on-call to assist in emergency equipment repairs.
