Job summary

ION Solar, LLC is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee residential PV project execution across a regional site in Maryland. You will supervise field crews, coordinate scheduling and installations, and drive safety and quality standards on every project.

You will lead contractor coordination, manage project timelines, and ensure adherence to company policies while fostering a productive team culture. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of construction experience expected.
• 1-3 years of solar experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate field crews (3-5 installers, techs, and warehouse staff).
• Oversee scheduling, inspections, site work and PV array installation activities.
• Develop performance improvement plans and make staffing decisions as needed.
• Recruit, interview and train new hires; monitor daily workflow for compliance.
• Manage project schedules and secure required materials/equipment.
• Ensure work quality meets or exceeds company standards.
