Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Solar Energy Analyst to join our North American Solar Energy Assessments team. You will deliver solar resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale, commercial, and residential projects across North America, leveraging data-driven methods and industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, atmospheric science, mathematics, environmental science or related field.
• Minimum five years of NA solar energy assessment experience.
• Strong statistical data-analysis skills; proficient in Excel, Python or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform long-term solar resource and energy production assessments across various project types.
• Analyze plant performance, variability, and degradation; support bankable energy yield models.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to methodological improvements and analytical tool development.
