Novitium Energy seeks a Sr. Commercial Solar Development Project Manager to oversee a high-volume portfolio of utility-scale and distributed generation projects.

You’ll lead strategic execution from post-sale to NTP, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while coordinating across permits, finance, and engineering teams. Qualifications

• 5+ years in project development across renewable energy.
• Proven track record delivering high-capacity utility-scale or multi-site portfolios to NTP.
• Strong understanding of project finance, PPAs, and energy markets.
• Leads process improvements and mentors junior staff.
• Experience negotiating MSAs and high-value contracts.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership of a high-capacity portfolio from post-sale to NTP.
• Expert Decision Making on project viability, risk, and resource allocation.
• Drive permitting in high-barrier jurisdictions with regulatory expertise.
• Improve internal workflows, software usage, and cross-department handoffs.
• Mentor Development Project Managers and aid due diligence and negotiations.
• Act as SME and assist teams in troubleshooting project hurdles.
• Manage multi-million dollar development budgets with accountability.
• Provide high-level financial reporting aligned with EBITDA goals.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering teams on complex sites.
• Review critical due diligence reports to ensure asset performance.
