Job summary

Solar Landscape, a premier solar developer, seeks a senior Project Development Manager to own a portfolio of ~30–40 commercial solar projects from contract through NTP. You will coordinate interconnection, engineering, zoning, incentives, and finance while guiding internal teams to on-time transitions to construction.

You will influence senior leadership decisions with rigorous analysis, mitigate risks, and push for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, economics, environmental studies, or related field.
• 4+ years of renewable energy project development experience.
• Experience developing commercial solar projects in New Jersey preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a large portfolio across development stages.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional influence.
• Highly organized and autonomous in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of ~30–40 commercial solar projects from contract execution through NTP.
• Develop and execute project strategies across interconnection, engineering, zoning, incentives, legal, finance, and other workstreams.
• Maintain understanding of critical paths, risks, costs, and deadlines; proactively mitigate issues.
• Lead complex project escalations and engage senior leadership when needed.
• Prepare project and portfolio updates, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Interconnection, Legal, Finance, and other teams to resolve development issues.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve processes and throughput.
• Mentor Project Development Analysts and strengthen team judgment.
