Job summary

Novitium Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own planning, coordinating, and executing renewable energy projects with autonomy across 5–15 sites. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety standards, and serve as a liaison to clients, subcontractors, and internal leaders.

Qualifications include 5–8 years in solar or renewables, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Procore, Smartsheet, and Box. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive project management experience in solar, commercial renewables, or utility‑scale construction.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and hands‑on mastery of Procore, Smartsheet, and Box.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Ownership: Plan, execute, and deliver renewable energy projects on time and within budget, managing active loading across 5–15 simultaneous construction sites.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Develop detailed project plans, track milestone scheduling, allocate resources, and manage cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Site & Subcontractor Oversight: Act as the primary point of contact for field operations, managing relationships with contractors, vendors, and engineers to clear procurement bottlenecks and expedite delays.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular client interaction, delivering accurate portfolio updates and status reports to internal executive leadership and external partners.
• Handoffs & Compliance: Lead project handoff decks across departments, ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations, and smoothly transition completed assets to the asset management team.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside Senior PMs on strategic initiatives while providing day-to-day coordination support to Junior PMs and Project Coordinators.

Positioned between our Junior and Senior PM levels, this role manages mid-sized project portfolios or complex single sites through engineering, procurement, and construction. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy—driving project timelines, managing budgets, enforcing safety standards, and serving as a key liaison to clients, subcontractors, and internal leaders.

Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $125,000 / year
