Corning is seeking a Senior Manager, Solar Data & AI Strategy, hybrid role in the Phoenix area, to lead enterprise data and AI initiatives across Solar. You will establish data foundations, govern AI projects, and partner with manufacturing, engineering, and IT to deliver scalable, value-driven AI solutions.

You will drive a portfolio from ideation through deployment, coaching teams, and ensuring responsible AI practices while communicating progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading data/AI transformation programs and teams.
• Experience shaping enterprise data strategies and roadmaps.
• Hands-on delivery of AI solutions and pilots.
• Knowledge of generative AI, ML, agents, RAG, model evaluation.
• Ability to influence executives, build business cases, and prioritize investments.
• Excellent communication of complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Solar data and AI strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap.
• Set data ownership, quality, metadata, lineage, security, and lifecycle standards.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities and drive discovery to production delivery.
• Provide hands-on guidance in prompt engineering, agent design, and workflow orchestration.
• Own Solar data and AI portfolio from ideation to adoption and value realization.
• Collaborate with data, security, privacy, and IT teams; report to leadership.
• Coach and develop data/AI leaders, manage partners and vendors.
