Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Tool Developer (SWE3) to transform research concepts into reliable tools for cryptanalytic engineering and daily mission use. You will collaborate with researchers, stakeholders, and end users to deliver enterprise Java enhancements and new capabilities.

The role requires strong development across Java, Python, Rust, C++, TypeScript, and related tools, with lifecycle management from prototype to deployment. Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a qualifying related discipline plus eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a qualifying related discipline plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Doctoral degree in Computer Science or a qualifying related discipline plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a qualifying related discipline plus ten (10) years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth, directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, and maintain complex software systems.
• Apply computer science principles, discrete mathematics, probability, and statistics to software engineering challenges.
• Develop and transition research-based software prototypes and algorithms into operational tools.
• Perform software architecture reviews, system integration, automated testing, debugging, maintenance, and release planning.
• Enhance existing enterprise Java applications, implement new functionality, and support software modernization.
• Develop technical documentation, provide training and user support, and present briefings to stakeholders.
