Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Senior Atlassian Software Engineer (SWE3) to design, develop, and maintain tools, services, and integrations for the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence). The role emphasizes Python/Java development, Linux scripting, CI/CD automation, and containerization in a Linux-focused environment serving mission-critical operations.

You will design, implement, and maintain integrations, automate workflows, and lead development activities while collaborating with mission customers

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience using Linux CLI and system administration tools.
• Experience developing Bash and PHP scripts to automate tasks, configurations, and workflows.
• Recent hands-on software development with Python and Java.
• Experience with Atlassian development tools and SDK.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance tools, plugins, and services for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
• Develop and integrate software using Python, Java, and Atlassian frameworks/SDKs.
• Create and maintain custom integrations to automate workflows and boost enterprise productivity.
• Develop Bash and PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and configurations.
• Implement IaC and automation with Ansible.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Deploy and support containerized apps with Docker.
• Translate user requirements into design specs and performance standards.
• Debug, resolve defects, and enhance system reliability and performance.
• Integrate existing components into new environments.
• Develop tests to validate functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate architecture and identify optimization opportunities.
