Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Tool Developer to transform research concepts into operational cryptanalytic tools. The role collaborates with researchers, stakeholders, and end users to enhance enterprise Java tools and deploy software from prototypes to daily mission use.

The candidate will lead technical development efforts, review architectures, and contribute to automated testing, debugging, and maintenance. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Related degrees may be considered if coursework includes CS fundamentals.
• Information Technology or Information Systems degrees may be considered if coursework is equivalent.
• Formal or informal leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply, and maintain complex software systems.
• Apply computer science principles, discrete mathematics, probability, and statistics to complex software engineering challenges.
• Develop and transition research-based software prototypes and algorithms into operational tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis.
• Perform software architecture reviews, system integration, automated testing, debugging, maintenance, and release planning.
• Lead enhancement and modernization of enterprise Java applications, including new feature development and software optimization.
• Develop technical documentation, provide training and user support, and present briefings to stakeholders.
