Job summary

Wyetech is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems for federal government customers. The role emphasizes team collaboration, design input, and performance optimization across data-intensive and real-time applications.

Security clearance (TS/SCI with poly) is required. The position offers extensive benefits including SEP IRA contributions, generous PTO, medical plans, and mobility across locations in Maryland and beyond.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph is required.
• 7+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 extra SWE years may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance and functionality standards.
• Develop or implement test procedures for software components.
