Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Test Engineer for a 100% remote US-based role focused on robust testing of information systems and software products. The candidate should have strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Java, or Python, and experience with manual and automated testing within Agile environments.

Qualifications

Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .Net, Java, or Python.
Experience in both manual and automated testing.
Proficiency with test planning, case writing, and execution.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC concepts.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure systems meet standards and end-user requirements.
Develop test plans, schedules, and approaches.
Write test cases/scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
Lead tests and verify IT systems for defects and operation.
Document and communicate test results; update management.
Create daily test metrics and reporting.
Support analysis and resolution of issues and complex problems.
Mentor junior testers and translate requirements into test scenarios.
